Kate Davis is a talent not to be missed (By GAYLE WILLIAMS Herald Tribune)

"Hearing Davis in performance just begs comparison to another current, yet once younger, jazz phenom, Diana Krall, who is also renowned for her double talents with vocals and piano. Davis has an equal if not greater vocal allure and shows a greater alacrity for more adventurous jazz and more instrumentally focused works as well."

I knew the day would come when Kate would be compared the the great Diana Krall but to also say "greater" in that comparison, wow! I've been listening to Kate since she was 16 and I knew back then that she is destined to be "great". I can't wait to see what the future has in store for this young jazz artist. To me, many great jazz singers such as Bobby Caldwell and Diana Schuur have great voices with as edge. Kate, you have that edge!
